Zwischen den Tauchgängen und nach dem Tauchen haben die Gäste reichlich Gelegenheit, ein Kajak zu nehmen und Bären, Robben, Seelöwen und Wale zu sehen. Diese Begegnungen bieten tolle Fotomotive und Urlaubserinnerungen, die Sie mit nach Hause nehmen können.

Der Lodge
Der Lodge ist sehr abgelegen und liegt in Rainy Bay. Es gibt 5 Doppelschlafzimmer und 2 Gemeinschaftsbäder für unsere Gäste. Alle Zimmer verfügen über eine individuelle Heizung. Der Essbereich bietet eine schöne Aussicht, sodass Sie Ihre Mahlzeiten in einer großartigen Umgebung genießen können und unser gemütliches Wohnzimmer ist der perfekte Ort, um Ihre Abenteuer des Tages zu besprechen, Ihre Bilder anzuschauen oder einfach nur die Seele baumeln zu lassen.
Die Tauchboote
Das Rendezvous I ist ein 12 m langes Boot mit einem 330-PS-Motor. Dieses Boot ist speziell für das Tauchen geeignet und Ihre Basis für Ihre Unterwasserabenteuer. Es hat eine vollständig geschlossene und beheizte Kombüse und ein mit Aluminium bedecktes Heck. Mit einer speziellen Leiter für Taucher, die den einfachen Einstieg erleichtert, ist es das ideale Tauchboot. Für kleine Tauchgruppen und Kajaktransporte verwenden wir den 7 Meter langen „Grunt Sculpin“. Es ist ein schnelleres Boot und eine großartige Film- / Fotoplattform
Wilde Tiere
Rendezvous Dive Adventures ist buchstäblich im Mitten der Natur und so sehen wir viele Wildtiere. Bringen Sie also unbedingt Ihre Landkamera für Ihren Tauchausflug mit. Abhängig von der Jahreszeit sehen wir regelmäßig Bären an unserem Strand, Wale vor der Lodge, Adler im Flug oder Kolibris, die Sie summen. Sie sorgen für tolle Erinnerungen

All around one of my favorite dive places to visit!
I’ve visited Kathy and Peter at Rendezvous many times over the past 10 years and I have to say that it is my most anticipated dive trip of the year. The diving, the resort, the location, the hospitality and of course Kathy’s cooking are all amazing. One couldn’t be more remote and connected to nature than here. Peter and Kathy’s experience, knowledge and dedication when it comes to diving really shows in how they run this Vancouver Island paradise. The safety, the gear, the boat and the support are all top notch and the diversity of visitors from all over the world always makes for great new friends. Can’t wait to visit again!!
One of my favorite cold water diving places in the world, maybe even my favorite.
I truly love this place, located in the splendid isolation of the Barkley Sound you are truly surrounded by the magical nature of the Pacific Northwest. We’ve seen seals, hummingbirds, black bears, orca’s bald headed eagles on both our stays – it feels like being in a fairytale to be honest. Add to that an fat layer of the most amazing Canadian-Dutch hospitality and you don’t want to leave. Ever. It also helps that Kathy is an amazing cook and no matter how much diving you will do: you will gain weight!!! Peter, besides great fun, is a serious person when it comes to navigating, diving and the safety of the people in his hands. We’ve always felt super comfortable being guided by him, above and under water. Pacific Northwest diving is among the best in the world, Jacques Cousteau is often quoted having said that – and I find it easily believable. All in all, an amazing place, amazing hospitality and food and above all: incredible diving!
Probably the best cold water diving on this planet
I traveled from Sweden to spend a week at Rendezvous Dive Adventures. It was definitely worth the long trip and I hope to be able to do it again. The diving was simply excellent. On most dives, the sceneries and abundance of creatures to see and photograph caused me to not reach my maximum planned depth before running out of dive time. Before, between and after the dives there was plenty of wildlife (whales, bears, sea lions and birds ranging from humming birds to eagles) on display. I regret not bringing a longer lens. Peter and Kathy (and Sam the dive dog) were great hosts, providing comfortable lodging and delicious food. I highly recommend a visit to Rendezvous Dive Adventures.
Fabulous diving with fabulous hosts!
I visited Peter and Kathy in Rainy Bay for a 4 day dive trip at the end of a work trip from the UK. Peter and Kathy are excellent hosts – from pick up to drop off they provided everything you could possibly need! Great food, cosy accommodation, a friendly dog, interesting conversation, and of course fabulous diving! Their boat is perfectly set up – plenty of space for your gear, easy entry and exits, and a warm cabin for between dives! The dive sites we visited were a great variety of walls, reefs, and pinnacles with lots of fish life, huge nudibranchs and anemones, and giant pacific octopus (!) and Peter was a fantastic guide showing us many things a newcomer to the northwest coast might miss. Aside from the diving I was lucky enough to watch the solar eclipse and kayak with a humpback whale! I’ve recently moved to Vancouver for two years and can’t wait to make another trip out to Rainy Bay as soon as COVID restrictions allow!
